THE 1926 SEASON:
The three matches on the representative list for 1926 were:-

v. West Coast At Westport Won 17 to 14
v. West Coast At Greymouth Lost 12 to 26
v. Nelson At Nelson Lost 9 to 16 {Seddon Shield}

This season a side representing Seddon Shield Districts played three games in the North Island. Stanley Davis (Granity Rover), L.Griffiths (Granity Rover), W.J.McNeight (Granity Rover), Thos.O’Neill (Westport), George Stuart (Mokihinui) and R.G.Tunnicliff (Umere) were Buller representatives in the team, matches being played at Napier, Gisborne and Wellington.

This season saw the entry of Westport Old Boys Club into the Union; the Club remains a force in Buller Rugby and has produced an All Black.
