Buller Representative Wider Training Squad

The Francis Mining Buller management team have named a Buller wider training squad as preparation continues for this year’s representative season.

Head coach Nathan Thompson said “it has been great for the management team to chat to all players in this squad over the first half of the season. There is some real energy in the group and a keen desire for individuals to learn and develop their game which is great for Buller Rugby”. The squad is not an exhaustive list with players able to be added through the remainder of the senior competition.

Assistant coach Craig Adams added “we are excited to be drawing closer to the representative season. We understand the importance of good preparation and the standard this competition demands, so it is great to be able to assemble a squad now”.

The management team have additional resource this year with Thompson and Adams being joined by Buller record point scorer James Lash as an assistant coach whilst Tii Paulo will again take charge of the forwards. Johnny Smith and Zin Halsall remain involved as managers this year while the team will also have injured player Alex Paterson helping with media duties.

The first training is Monday June 13 at 6:30pm at PERC.
