THE 1916 & 1917 SEASON:
Club activity was maintained in these mid-War years, the affiliations at the time of the General Meeting in 1917 being Granity Rover, Hill United, Millerton Rangers, Ngakawau, St Andrew’s, St John’s, Westport and Westport White Star Clubs.

Ngakawau Club was founded in 1916, and has survived the years with much honour.
