This season a “Smaller Unions” Inter-Island match was played at Wellington.

Buller being represented by George Anderson (Millerton Rangers) and W.M.Cunniffe (Millerton Rangers), with Millerton Rangers’ G. R. Dixon as a reserve.

Mokihinui Club again became affiliated, with senior status, but was unable to keep its competition engagements by the season’s end. The Annual Report covering the year expressed the opinion that the senior competition had been most unsatisfactory, and advised Delegates to give consideration as to the advisability of having so many teams in the top grade.
