{"id":1465,"date":"2015-12-14T15:18:02","date_gmt":"2015-12-14T02:18:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bullerrugby.co.nz\/?p=1465"},"modified":"2015-12-14T15:18:02","modified_gmt":"2015-12-14T02:18:02","slug":"mitre-10-unveiled-as-new-sponsor-of-national-provincial-rugby-competitions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bullerrugby.co.nz\/wp4\/mitre-10-unveiled-as-new-sponsor-of-national-provincial-rugby-competitions\/","title":{"rendered":"Mitre 10 unveiled as new sponsor of national provincial rugby competitions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/i2.wp.com\/rugbyheartland.co.nz\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/NZ_MEDIA2014.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-265 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/i2.wp.com\/rugbyheartland.co.nz\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/NZ_MEDIA2014.jpg?resize=650%2C100\" alt=\"NZ_MEDIA2014\" width=\"650\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mitre 10 unveiled as new sponsor of national provincial rugby competitions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teams to compete in Mitre 10 Cup, Mitre 10 Heartland Championship and Mitre 10 Women\u2019s Provincial Championship from 2016<\/li>\n<li>Five year partnership through to 2020<\/li>\n<li>81 stores and 5,000 employees to get behind competitions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/rugbyheartland.co.nz\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/download.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3347 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/i0.wp.com\/rugbyheartland.co.nz\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/download.png?resize=456%2C144\" alt=\"download\" width=\"352\" height=\"111\" \/><\/a>New Zealand-owned home improvement and garden retailer, Mitre 10 will sponsor men\u2019s and women\u2019s national provincial rugby competitions from 2016 through to 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Mitre 10 will be the new title sponsor for the national domestic championship, formerly known as the ITM Cup and the Heartland Championship which was previously supported by Pink Batts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">With the inclusion of the Women\u2019s Provincial Championship and support of the Jock Hobbs Memorial National Under 19 tournament, Mitre 10 becomes the first sponsor of all major fifteens domestic rugby competitions in New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">NZR Chief Executive Steve Tew said the partnership with Mitre 10 would provide benefit across both men and women\u2019s provincial rugby, and reflected an exciting commitment to the domestic game.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\u201cMitre 10 is an iconic New Zealand company with a great number of staff over its 80 stores and connects with hundreds of thousands of Kiwis every year.
